hmmm, this is getting curiouser and curiouser. Were the files created in FM8, on your system, or were they brought over from an earlier version of FM, or from another system? Did you import any text from another file, FM, Word, or whatever? Having the "Adobe PDF" as your default printer when in FM is good, that's the best. What version of Acrobat and Distiller are you using? Do you have the full Acrobat program, or just the Distiller that comes from FM? Did you have an older version installed before you installed FM? Ah, here's a thought. I wonder if your Arial font has gotten corrupted somehow -- I've seen occasions where the space character prints as a small dot, it's a very tiny dot, much smaller than the bullet character, and it's higher up than the bullet would normally be. How about this: make a brand new FM file, set the Body paragraph tag to be Arial, and then put a bullet =plus= a space as an autonumber. Then Apply, and Update all. Then make a PDF. Compare the bullets to those showing in your problem files -- are they the same size? Same vertical location compared to the letters following?
