Peter:
The problem with the MIF Filter from dtptools.com is that you pay per converted page. We will have to convert abou 30.000 pages which would cost more than 5000 Euro.

Art:
I do not know anything about ePublisher and we would prefer a free tool. But your question is not silly at all.

We found a free, experimental tool that does what you proposed. Take a look here:

It seems to be a bit tricky to use and the layout seems not to be correct with the first use but we will give it a try.
