Art, I have figured out how the anchored frames work, and despite what you say, they do leave a great deal to be desired in terms of positioning. Assuming the document is somehow corrupted, which remains an open question, blaming it on taking images out of their frames seems facile if not silly. How would one know if this is true? Put them back in anchored frames? Recreate the entire document from scratch? As a newbie to this app, with deep experience in Quark and InDesign, I have high expectations, which are continually defeated in FM, no offense to the devotees in this forum. I am a usability designer, and I call usability failures by their name wherever I find them. Stevenjs _____________________________ --Stranger in a Strange Land
