Converting docs from Word to Frame is a whole lot easier if the styles (Word) and paragraph tags (Frame) have the same name. If you change the styles in the Word template to the equivalent tags in the Frame template, re-apply the styles throughout the Word doc, then import the doc into Frame, many of the conversion chores for the text will be taken care of automatically. Sorry, but you'll probably have to handle graphics and tables by the sweat of your brow.
