Hi, Larry, We've periodically had folks report that actually saving FM files across a network (as opposed to just copying/moving after the files have been created and saved locally) can cause erratic difficulties, as can an "overactive" backup system, so there may be two culprits at play. Could your script be modified to save the book & chapters locally and then move it to the network? Perhaps other folks might chime in with some suggestions. Sheila
