Unfortunately, the File Info dialog box does not support variables and has to be populated manually. The File Info fields are exposed to FrameScript and the FDK, so different mechanisms can be set programmatically to update fields in automated ways. Specifically with respect to FM->PDF workflows, my FrameMaker-to-Acrobat TimeSavers add-on can optionally set the Title field from the first/top bookmark (see <http://www.microtype.com/ImprovePDF01.html> for additional information).
