All I am saying is that maybe the author wanted to say that the items listed in the TOC are on/in the front cover, or at least some place called or named Front. This place called Front did not have a page number, but the author wanted the reference included in the TOC. To do that, the author had to use the text "Front", instead of a reference to a page number, because there is no page number to reference.

As I think I said before, this is just a guess. I have no way of knowing what the original author wanted. But there is nothing magical in those lines in the reference page; they are just the way they are.

Path forward: If lines with the word "Front" do not show up in the TOC, then there is nothing to worry about. If they DO show up in the TOC, decide whether you want them there or not. If not, remove them from the TOC setup. If they need to be there, then decide how you want them to look and edit the lines in the reference page correspondingly.
