Hello, 

I've been importing various graphic file formats by reference and by into FrameMaker 6.0 with no difficulty. 

But all of a sudden, I can't seem to import any graphic files.  

As usual, I select File > Import > File, navigate to the file I want, click Import by reference, and then click Import. But does my graphic appear in my anchored frame? Nope. Instead, I get an Unknown File Type dialog box that prompts me to convert the graphic from one of the file formats listed. Regardless of the format of the graphic file or the format I select, I get this message: 
"The filter encountered an error and could not complete the conversion." 

Any ideas on what's going on here? I haven't had any problems on my system, no strange crashes or behavior, no recent software installs or uninstalls. 

I'd appreciate any suggestions you might have.
