The PC version simply cannot provide many of the Mac combinations because Windows intercepts the keystrokes. On the Mac, you can map virtually any combination of shift, option, command, and control. Under Windows, the alt and windows keys are not available, so you are left with just shift and control.

Within that limitation, you can remap the shortcuts (Frame comes with a PDF document that tells how to customize its user interface), but it gets confusing as heck if you ever have to work on a machine where they haven't been remapped. So my advice is to get used to using the escape sequences, especially if you are going to be switching back and forth between Mac and PC. It really isn't so hard if you can figure out the underlying mnemonics (or make up your own). And it has the advantage that even on the Mac (and especially on the PC) there are commands that have no keyboard shortcut other than the escape sequence.
