Barbara - did you try editing the corss-reference definition? Vicki Smithson - How well it does really depends on what you are expecting. I go mostly from FramMaker text to HTML and PDF. Whether I use the Save As or the Web Works templates, both processes complete, and I can view the web page. Most the time I want the pages viewable on my Win CE 2.11 machine with Pocket Explorer (which does not recognize a lot of things, including CSS), but I can read the words, see paragraph breaks and jump between documents. The cross-references in FrameMaker carry over using Save as HTML. So in this case, since it's easy to do, and looks are not important. It works for me. How much you needs matter. For me, with basic text output, time saved is more important. Good luck. If looks are important, then HTML and XML are not the way to go.
