Hi,
 
I have 5 documents of 50 to 300 pages which will be soon have to be available in 4 versions. I expect to be using the conditional feature to deal with some of this but would like to automate some of the routine elements of the work in any case.
 
I'm keen to know if there is any experience of automating the final generation of books, indexes, PDFs  and catalog indexes across groups of the PDFs. We may be setting up a UNIX "documentation machine" to do this separately from the Windows 2000 machine on which I currently do all the editing.
