Word table import in FM7 is great! I got to test FM6 and FM7 side-by-side, and while FM6 failed to get rows and columns right, FM7 imported the Word table exactly, including all ruling, shading, and putting the text in the correct cells. However, still no effective way to select a table and update it with a standard table from the Table Designer--that is, overrides remain. And, still no export table to tab-delimited text in FM7 (which would address the Table Designer/overrides shortcoming), only the row-by-row or column-by-column layouts, which are useless. Sean
