I must be missing some really simple (or maybe I'm not), but I cannot use the hyperlink or cross-ref markers in my fm7 docs as links for web publication. I need to create pdf's so that I can link to specific points in the pdf's, but I cannot get the format correct. I don't have any problems creating pdf's. I am using framemaker 7, with the default distiller 4.05. I have attempted the 'save as' method, as well as the print metod (as suggested for fm6). I have also 'optimized' the pdf before I attempted to create the pdf. I enabled the 'fast web' option, and I am using the 'screen' job option. I can use other directives, like the "#page=x" and the document loads page x. I also see conflicting documentation on how to implement the linking feature, but from the examples I've seen in use on the web, it apears that you just need to reference as "http://your.domain.com/mydoc.pdf#my_link" Examples from Adobe documentation so the following "http://your.domain.com/mydoc.pdf#namedest=my_link" and "http://your.domain.com/mydoc.pdf#dest=my_link"! Please help Thanks! -Jason
