Kurt - I'm happy to hear you can work FrameMaker effectively with a P 200 and Win 2000. Thanks. 

Sean - Stability and speed. Are these technologically important? Sometimes I wonder. Maybe it's too hard to market. Stability is good. I feel I can earn free time with stability. I buy speed, when I can afford it. 

Sean - I would add high marks for discrete-ablility, my own subjective estimation of stability over time in an environment of multiple uninstall/installs. Does high-tech verbiage exist for such a concept? 

In my experience, FrameMaker is both a reliable and respectful neighbor in the program community of my PC. 

In the course of two years, I have uninstalled and reinstalled FrameMaker 6.0 three times. During this period, I have also uninstalled. installed and upgraded many other programs on my PC. Once the reinstalls were complete, using FrameMaker appeared unchanged. Using my other applications also appeared unchanged. This is good. There exist popular programs which are not as good. 

Kudos for this. Thanks to the FrameMaker. Thanks to Adobe.
