I am trying to create PS files with FrameMaker 6 on Windows 2000, something I used to do with no problem on 5.5.6 on Windows NT. However, I consistently get the message "Cannot write to specified print file." It happens with different documents. The problem is not related to one document or page size. I have tried different printer drivers (though it seems most natural to use Acrobat Distiller) and different file names and directories, but it makes no difference. I am very frustrated. I have promised to deliver something in the next few days. Am I going to have to create a PS file from the PDF file? (The only thing I can think of!)
