I have had similar experiences with FM/RH. My only issue is that each time I want to update things I have to think real hard about how much work I do in RH after I have brought the text in. For those of you who use RH you will apreciate that there are many cool features that you can add to the help topics, e.g. exanding hotspots/drop down hotspots, DHTML, JavaScript, Design time Controls, etc. Once the text is in, I am in the not so perfect position of having to maintain text in two places - if I have used some of the cool RH features I cannot simply re-import all of the FM files from scratch, i.e. I cannot use FM as a true single sourcing solution. However saying all of that, maintaining FM and RH files is not too much of an issue for me at the moment - the cool features in RH make up for the small overhead in text maintenance. The import of MIF files is pretty straight forward and generally accurate - and maintenance changes to my documents is generally small things. So all in all, the time saved having to learn all of the WWP stuff, setting up of the templates, etc. has been used in beefing up the HTML Help files in FH with all of these extra features. One other point - if I need to update small ammounts of text I can do this in FM and simply copy and paste into the approapriate topic in RH - its all about the workflow ... Cheers Steve ps I must try my next project with WWP as a comparison ...
