Folks, Here's what's happening. In the two manuals, the PDF left pane has Heading 1 tags from the files in the book, each with a plus box to the left; and they expand and contract just like Windows Explorer. In the one manual, the PDF left pane has all the Heading 2TOC tags from the TOC (I quit counting at 40), with page numbers, then the Heading 1 tags from the files in the book. I can expand or contract them. None of the other TOC tags appear. Everything in the right pane works as it should. I can scroll through the entire manual from cover sheet to index, and everything hyperlinks as it should The PDF setup in all three manuals is identical: Heading 1 flush left, Heading 2 one space indented, Heading 3 two spaces indented. On that page, generate pdf bookmarks is checked. The only other setup page with content is links.
