Word tables to Frame

I need to import Word tables into my Frame 6.0 documents and make the tables editable (real tables, not objects). I've tried everything I've read on this forum and others, but nothing really works. I've saved the Word file as an RTF and then done both import or copy/paste (or paste special)... you name it, but I still get one table in Frame for every row in the RTF table. Can anyone help?
