About the renumbering: The book file can tell a file to restart at 1, or can tell a file to continue from the last chapter (assuming you don't use a specific n=1, in which case you always get 1, no matter what). This is on page 24-13. I have gone back to previous posts and change the page numbers to the 5.0 book for you.
