Sean - I tremble at the mere thought of disagreeing with you, but you said If you are getting black and white output you are either not using the Distiller printer or you did not create the Distiller printer using the correct PPD Depending on what has to be done, I use one of three printers: two b/w physical printers and Distiller. Every now and then, though not often enough for me to have worked out any logic behind it, I change from physical printer to Distiller and find the Distiller settings have changed to b/w. Just another possibility to bear in mind ...
