As I recall, it cost $25 to upgrade from 5.5.3 to 5.5.6. However, if you purchased 6.0 as an upgrade to 5.5.3, you agreed to quit using 6.0 (read the license if you don't believe me). So I suspect Adobe would balk at selling you the upgrade, although it probably wouldn't hurt to try.
