If I read you aright, your situation is that you haven't yet managed to create a single, colour .pdf with all the content of your book. FWIW, here's a quick summary of what I've been doing with book-files this morning ... 1. Open book 2. Select File > Print book 3. Print to a PostScript file using the correct Adobe driver 4. Distil the resulting PostScript file into a .pdf If you're getting b/w results where you expected colour, this could be to do with your choice of printer driver - I hope other posters with more info at their fingertips will advise you fully on this .
