TOC items appear as bookmarks in PDF file

When I created the PDF, I set it up to bookmark only H1, H2, and H3 level headings. But in the PDF, the H1 TOC, H2 TOC, and H3 TOC styles appear as bookmarks. What can I do so that TOC references won't appear in the PDF? 

I can remove TOC bookmarks manually, but when you deal with lots of documents, it gets very time-consuming!
