Sheila: You're probably right about not being able to reconfigure the anti-spyware & our tech guy is away today. Art: I did a search for both ps and pdf files by date last week when I experienced this issue and nothing was returned. Today the only file returned in my search was the pdf created from doing "Save Book As>PDF". I don't get prompted for a destination path. Van: I have the Adobe PDF printer set to Prompt for PDF File Name without saving to file as well. I still don't get prompted for a destination. I'm going to try the uninstall/reinstall process once more to see if I can eliminate the appearance of that new message. So far, every action I've taken in this process seems to be taking me further and further from where I want to be. It's baffling. I'll post again after the reinstall and just let you know whether anything changes. Thanks all, Janice
