Sheila, I copied my files to my desktop and created a PDF of the book in less than 1 minute. At first I thought that answered the question of the network being an issue. Then, just for fun, I created a PDF of the network files (same book) and it took about 3 minutes again. I was one of only a few people on the network yesterday when I got it to work in 3 minutes (thought that explained it). But today the network is busy and still it only took 3 minutes. I've decided to just give myself a huge cushion of time to get a PDF to someone and if it takes an hour, it takes an hour! Just kidding. Kenneth, I checked my Adobe PDF printer properties and am printing to an Adobe PDF port. Janice
