At first I was going to say that doesn't seem to have the desired affect, but on closer examination of the problem, we're only experiencing the issue in a file that has an unusual master page setup. It is the file containing the cover and the release history for the document. Of course the cover doesn't have a page number and is a right page. So, the right master is set up for this. The left master is set up to contain page numbers and all the standard formatting that is found inside the document. Then, we have a third master caled "Right with Page Numbers" that is a mirror image fo the left master. So, I wonder if there is a problem in the configuration of the master pages that could be causing this. What should I be looking for in the masterpage settings that could fix this problem? Thanks for the inputs. Bill Lugg
