I converted a Word file to FM. Now, one chapter per file. Inserted xrefs. In some chapters, the xrefs to other sections w/i the file don't "stick," that is, I insert an xref by selecting a Source Type: Pgrafs, select a pgraf style and the pgraf I want, and an xref style, and click Insert. Inserts the appropriate info, but when I close and repoen the file, the xrefs all point to the first pg of the file (see more below). If I d-click the xref (even immed after inserting it), the dialog box shows Marker Type: cross ref and the list of markers is empty. If I reselect Source Type: Pgrafs, the pgraf tag, and the one I want, and then Insert, when I reopen the xref, it still reverts to Marker Type: cross ref, etc. All the xrefs to places in the current file revert to the first heading on the first page in the file (when the xref style is heading & page)and the first page of the file (when the xref style is page # only). The file has xrefs to other chapters in the book work and they work fine. There are 10chapters in the book and this problem occurs in five of them. BTW, when I insert a xref marker in one of these "broken" files, and then try to insert an xref to the marker, the marker does not appear in the list of markers. Workls in other chapters in this book.
