I think I saw one TC Suite video where the instructor said a "poster" image can replace the icon (place holder) that represents the imported Captivate swf. I am using FM 8.0 to import the C3 file. Current default is a grey play button. I'd like the first screen of the captivate file to appear insted. Any help? Thanks

If you don't get a solid answer here, you may want to try the TCS User's Group at <http://groups.google.com/group/TCS-Users?hl=en>. It's a new, small, group but may be another resource for you.

This doesn't work reliably. You can embed the swf from FrameMaker and it sometimes will go through to the pdf file. You can sometimes set the poster in Acrobat. The resulting pdf relies on external programs to play the pdf file. I have given up on this functionality. If you manually embed the swf in the pdf file in Acrobat 9, it will automatically pick the first frame as its poster. The resulting pdf plays well with Mac and PCs using Readers native swf playing capabilities. If you use the older method, the resulting pdf file will most likely never play properly on a Mac. Mike
