Error While Importing MIF File
#1302

Product: Unstructured FrameMaker version 7.0p579

I'm learning MIF and need to create MIF files that contain tables. As a base, I'm using the table.mif file that is in the samples\mif directory in the Frame installation folder.

I imported the MIF file into a Frame file and it worked fine. (I kept the imported file as a text inset.) Then in the MiF file, I changed the <TblTag element from Format A to a tag that is defined in the Frame file into which I'm imported the MIF file. I double-clicked the inset and clicked the "Update Now" button. The error below was displayed in the console.

Although the MIF reference includes an explanation of the error, it does not provide enough information for me to fix the error. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem and why it happens?

Thanks!

What happens when you try to open the modified MIF file in FM (without
importing into another FM file)?
