Hello,

Wondering how in FM7, when I put an equation paragraph somewhere in the middle of a bunch of equations, I want it to have an equation number following the one before it, and then automatically increase the following equation numbers; then, hopefully in the text mentioning all these equations, their referenced equation numbers can also be automatically tracking any changes.

Is there a name for this kind of automatically sequence referencing and updating ?

Duuk,
This is standard functionality.
Create a paragraph tag to put in front of your equation, like EqTitle, or one to follow it, such as EqCaption. In the Paragraph Designer turn on Autonumbering.
