I'm using FM 7.1 and it doesn't seem to spell check inside tables I've created using FM. Is this normal for FM 7.1 or is there a setting I'm missing?

It could be that the paragraph format in your table cells has its language property set to "None".

Use the paragraph designer to update the language value as required.
