Is the Lasso Studio 7 the GoLive DC replacement we've been looking for? I started working with dynamic content just as Adobe screwed us over. I haven't been doing this long. I thought I could just stick with GoLive6, but I found out that hosts are upgrading their php and GL6 might be dog-meat soon. As far as I can tell, it does everything we need. My only concern is finding providers that run Lasso, who don't charge to damned much. The price just dropped way down. I can certainly afford the client side now, and the server side looks completely affordable too. what do you pros from Dover think?

Well Lasso Studio is for Lasso Server 7 which is its own Database-driven dynamic site system, like PHP and ASP and JSP, but it doesn't support these other systems. You can certianly build Dynamic Sites with Lasso, but they would run exclusively on Lasso Server 7, there are many hosting providers that support Lasso, check the pricing, make your own decision, it's a powerful product and if you use FileMaker at all for databases it is definitly the way to go. -Eric
