Hello...

I have been using cs2 for this site successfully forever ( even though it's probably not very well designed technically...) Recently I went to upload something and now some of the links on the home page ( including the jscript nav bar...) don't work... The website is www.elainepasqua.com The home, bio, and contact links on the home page nav bar don't work ( from the home page... they work from the other pages!!!???) the other links on the page don't work either... but if you right click and open in another tab/window... they are there...

Sorry for the longwinded explanation, but I have tried everything and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Jeff

Hi Jeff. You've got a GoToLink action on the home page that's pointing to a page with this name:
Elaine's Blog Page.html

The spaces aren't really valid (or at least ideal) for a file name, but what's really causing the problems is the apostrophe. It's causing a JavaScript error on the page, which prevents any of the actions from working. To fix it, you'd need to either remove the apostrophe from the page's name (and make sure to re-link it in the Actions palette), or escape the apostrophe with a backslash in the Actions palette like:
Elaine\'s Blog Page.html

Nate-

Great catch! I don't think I would ever have seen that... very well done!

Send me your email would you?? Do you do this for a living.. or just a talented amateur?

I just changed it to a hyperlink while I figure out how to do it right...

Thanks

Jeff
