Hi everyone,
I'm actually not quite sure if Flash is what I am looking for but I'll tell you what I want to do.

1. I want to create an effect where my images stream by like a slide show.
2. I want to create an effect where letters are spelled out individually when the page is opened.

Do you know what is the easiest way to achieve these effects? I'm hoping there is a plug-in I can use.

Thank you

I would say Flash animations *are* probably the best way to achieve
those tasks. You cannot create them in GoLive, though.

There are a whole bunch of things you could create them in; try googling:

"Flash animation tools"

Leave it to John to undersell GoLive's built-in DHTML Timeline Editor. :)

You can also use free pre-built scripts from dynamicdrive.com

I admit, I've never been much of a fan of DHTML animation.

Jim, those ideas are what I'm after for my news ticker. Could you take a look at my post, "Aim Day Co" and let me know if you can help.
I like the "Memory Scroller"

 <http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/fader.htm>

but without the B/G and box more like the plain text in

 <http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/fader.htm>

only with the text scrolling in the fader. Can You help?

Mark

Mark, each of the scripts on dynamicdrive.com come with instructions. What help do you need?

Keep in mind that all the scripts on dynamicdrive.com show browser compatibility. The two scripts that you linked will not work for about a quarter to one third of your audience.

Jim, the webmaster is already using a dynamic drive script on that page (http://www.marieallen.co.uk/index.php)and I was hoping 2 scripts could be used but "WHERE" would you put the "Memory Scroller" text and what would need adjusted? I want that text scrolling across the page between the words "NEWSFLASH"

I personally would like to be able to do it but I'm no good with code and the webmaster is hopelessly busy and hard to get hold of.
