I have always thought that this was a missed opportunity for Adobe to attract many uses to Illustrator as it is ideal for creative approach to graphs an charts and many uses often come to the forum wanting to bring or asking if excel data can be turned into a creative vision for their graphs and charts as excel doe snot excel at this very point.

In the past I have used the graphs for all sorts of reasons for web display, annual reports,
news articles and presentations both print and projected.

Charts and Graphs are used everywhere and with the creative tools Illustrator has it is a no brainer.
