After playing with multiple Artboards for a little bit now I've thought of a few features that would be helpful. Of course if these features are already in CS4 and I'm just a retard for not realizing it, feel free to yell at me. ;) 1) Layers specific to an artboard. I would imagine many users create multiple artboards in one file so that they don't have to have many files open and can just work in one file and move around the working area to see all the graphics they are working on. Well, it'd be handy to have the layers pallete show layers that are specific to that particular artboard, and/or a feature to toggle showing all the layers of each artboard. Of course in order to do this and to know which set of layers goes to which artboard, be able to label each artboard with more than just a number as it currently is. 2) pasting from one artboard to another enhancements. If you have multiple artboards, all the same size. it'd be great to be able to paste from one artboard to another preserving where that item was positioned in the source artboard into the second. i.e. artboard 1: black square at x:10 y:10. Pasting into artboard 2 would allow you to automatically paste it at x:10 y:10 of artboard 2.

Layers specific to an artboard.
Be careful what you ask for. Corel Draw implemented that very feature citing "popular demand" in its current X4 version. Ever since, the predominate outcry among Draw users seems to be to return to the previous setup.

@Jet (James), I'm way ahead of you... that's why I mentioned a toggle feature to show layers for all artboards :) "Well, it'd be handy to have the layers pallete show layers that are specific to that particular artboard, and/or a feature to toggle showing all the layers of each artboard." This way people can choose the display format based on what they are doing at any given point in time. If you have multiple artboards, but are only working in one of them, showing all the other layers could make it messy if you aren't good with organization of your layers. But I guess this begs the question, is this just a question of better layer management on the designers part. If I had to choose, I'd choose to show layers specific to an artboard because i still get graphics from designers that don't understand what organization means and how powerful layer structure really is. :(

I fully agree with Anil. On the one hand very well that in the end you can have a page in one document, Ai, on the other hand, something strange is now working. Me there was no: 1 Master of the pages on which I could put things that occur at other sites and thus quickly change them all together for all. 2. The ability to preview all pages at once is very good 3. When creating dokumnetu, you can set the number of pages, size and spacing. After that you can not have it impact and change the format for example, requires a tedious job of all. Why when you can manage that at the beginning of the parties of the same size to why this can not be later? 4. Why do Indd, Ps can not select the option Import worksheet pages, only a single page? 5. Inability to naming the parties to its name. 6. Personally I am disappointed with the function so loud in your ad. Advertising refers to the number of pages beginning to imagine, therefore, that this will act as such as Innd, and are interesting but not completely designed :(

The idea of creating and managing pages in a single artboard is visionary
and exciting...
If sure was, back in 1994 <http://www.freehandsource.com/_frames/_misc/_history/fh_version_history.html>.

"It sure was, back in 1994." :) Yes I know, that was irony... ;( Overall, it seems to me that these pages are intended only for the ads were placed in CS4. Also I think that I lack: - If you can move the artboard with projketem why you can not move from projketu page? - free rotation - Save for Web as separate pages !!!
