I'm trying to do the same trick the have on the adobe website: "XML business card" batch thingy. I prepared the template and tried to load the variable library back into AI 10 but mostly it doesn't do the trick. When it does import the xml data, I cannot batch it into seperate .jpg files (batch and save for web). Has anyone tried it before with a succes? When I batch the data sets into different .jpg files it keeps asking me to overwrite the the same file. When I record the "Save for Web" command i tried to hold down the ctrl-key when I save the file, to not record the filename (worked...). But it keeps asking me to overwrite the file, and also the save for web dialog box opens (to make ajustmens). Anyone did do the trick? Dennis,
