OK to get the longitude to look like real longitude lines (Scaling does not give the most realistic rendition): 1. Draw a circle; With the scissor tool, cut EXACTLY on the top and bottom handle. Discard one half of the circle, and remove the fill from the remaining half. 2. Using the Reflect tool, place the pointer over the top anchor of the half-circle, and Alt-Click, make sure the reflection is over the vertical axis, Click COPY. Now, you should have what looks like a whole circle, only it's two halves that are mirror images (This is the only way it'll work with the next step); 3. Select both halves, and go to the Blend Tool. Make a blend, and select under blend options "Specified Steps", enter like 10 or something. 4. To make a realistic looking perspective with the outer ones going closer together, this step is hard to explain: From the centerpoint of the left half to the centerpoint of the right half, draw a line with the pen tool, but do it so you drag out a handle on both ends. Go to the Blend tool, with all selected, and "Replace Spine". Now, by sliding the handles on the new spine, you can alter the spacing progressively between longitudes. Bert
