I typically like to create new drafts in Photoshop (CS) & ImageReady (CS) as I proceed through the development process.

First off, I'll create a psd file in Photoshop and apply some effects to layers (some of which are text layers) via the "layer style" pop-up window. I'll then send the document over to IR and create slices and subsequently designate rollover states via the "web content" pallette. I'll then save the psd file in IR.

Of course, it's rare I'll settle on a design after the first go around, so I'll often open up the same psd file in PS at a later point in time and adjust the layers' attribute via the "layer style" pop-up window. Or, I'll add an entirely new layer(s). I'll then go back to IR and try and output web content via the "save optimized as" command.

This is where I'm able to see the old layer styles seem to be "stuck" or "preserved" into the output, where as I don't see this behavior actually inside of IR when I'm editing the psd file (on the 2nd go around).

Deleting the "over" states under the "slices" tab in the "web content" pallette seems to fix some of this unwanted effect, but IR still seems to *hold on* to the old slice/layer settings.

Is there a way to "clear" the web content pallette without affecting the actual content within the layers?
