Hello. I have tried everything else before posting, so I don't know if it is a bug, a feature, or something totally obvious I missed.

I use PS CS2 under XP, but a trial with PS CS under W2000 was not better.

Description of the problem :
I have 2 objects, one that is the target of the other action " mouse click".
Different appearances are on different layers and associated to mouse transform states. No problem with that.

The first one has 3 states : normal, mouse over state, mouse click state.
The second one has 2 states : normal, selected.
This mouse click on the first has a local action ( lets say, change the color of the button ) and a distant action on the second slice : it is selected ( something show up ) .

My expectation is that the target objet stays in the selected state as long
as the first one is. But when the mouse goes out from the first objet, that is still in the selected state, the target objet return to the normal state. I expect this behaviour from the mouseover state ; but not from the
mouse click state.



Another thing is the fact that I cannot make A target of B if B is already
target of A in another state ( a toogle ).
