James, That is completely normal. It is down to the nature of the http protocol, and there is nothing you can do about it for the page you have. When you enter a URL into the browser address bar, it sends an HTTP_REQUEST to the server for that page. The HTML page arrives at the browser and as the page is processed by the browser, it comes across the references to each image. A further HTTP_REQUEST is then sent to the server for that image. Now the http protocol can handle up to 4 simultaneous requests, and some images will download to your browser quicker than others, so the order in which they arrive at the browser can appear to be totally random. A request for image 7 could be sent before image 1 has completed downloading, for example. Fast-loading pages make minimal use of graphics and those that are used are optimized to be as small as possible without totally ruining the quality. Often a JPEG quality of 4 can be quite sufficient, for example, so if it is, don't use a quality of 8.
