I am having similar problems in Illustrator. It allows me to work on a document but the moment I try and save it a dialog box appears that says 'An unknown error has occured' and it pretty much freezes after that. Even my tool bar with all my tools on the left hand side goes blank. Other times it has sent a 'send error report' box and when I looked at what might be wrong it was saying that Illustrator couldn't read my IP address. But my Photoshop is working fine- Do you ahve any idea's? I would greatly appreciate it. JP
