Hair has very nearly been pulled out today..so any help most appreciated.
I also apologize in advance if this problem has been covered elsewhere.

Image ready
Working with a background image (screen grab jpeg) with an overlay of gifs that are tweened between one another for a scrolling animation.

When i click optimize/look at 2-up view, i am given the completed animation, however the background colour has changed from white to pale blue, as opposed to remaining the screen grab image..minus any pale blue!

- Should i import background image as a gif?
- What is actually occurring?
- Have i inadvertently changed a setting?
- How does one stop this happening!!

As before sorry for any repetition, sorry also if this a real dunce question! Must try harder.

Help is most appreciated.

William,

Do you have your background layer set to be visible in every frame?

Hi, thanks for the response.

I do yes. Have just re-tried the animation again, still no luck.

The problem occurs, i.e pale blue, pink, yellow background appearing, when I Optimize> Color Table> Reduction and change to something other than what it sits at originally.
However it seems unable to go back to its original settings when i try and re-select its original option of perceptual, adaptive etc, etc.
Second problem is also now occurring in that ImageReady is unable to carry out a lot of the tasks I set it as it has insufficient memory, where in fact i have around 300GB of free space. Do I need to change a preference to solve this one?

Many thanks, again.

William,

I would convert from indexed colour to RGB before making the animation.
