I want to create a document with showingWindow = false and print it. var myDocument = app.documents.add(false); var myStory = myDocument.stories.item(0); myStory.contents = "Hello World!"; myDocument.print(true); myDocument.close(SaveOptions.NO); The print dialog comes up but then InCopy crashes.

You might be able to print it without showing the print dialog, but I wouldn't expect you to be able to do it showing the dialog -- the dialog expects to work with the active document and there isn't one. Mind you, crashing seems like an over-reaction. Dave

I tried not showing the print dialog... The good news is InCopy doesn't crash anymore, the bad news is it doesn't work. Now the script editor says... "Problem initializing the current printer. Check the system print settings."
