Hi. My name is Meredith. I am a very new InDesign user and am basically learning by doing. I did have a 6-hour crash course in Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. I was already fairly familiar with Photoshop and Illustrator. Now I'm well into my project, and some problems are arising.
I'm very resourceful however, using online tutorials and emailing my questions to the guy who came in and taught me. However, it's hard to search for the answer on those tutorials if you don't phrase it exactly right, and the guy hasn't responded to me so far this time.
So please help!
I have overlapping text. Does that make sense? I can't determine which tool to use to manipulate it. The online tutorial doesn't get that specific unless I don't know the correct terminology for the problem. If I try to tab the text over, it moves it all and messes up my formatting.
I can email the page in question if that helps.
My company cannot invest in more training or support right now. Help!
