FWIW I've installed the plug-ins by copying/pasting as Adam says many times and have never had a problem with it. I often instruct clients to keep a set in a folder on the server in case they ever need to add them to a new ID user's machine. I think Adobe should put them up as a free download in the InDesign section. Lots of my clients end up needing to beg their IT guy to unlock the CD cabinet to give them the install cd ;-) Michael perhaps it was a permissions or preferences issue? AM
