AAAAHHH! I have the same problem. I didn't check out the document -- at least not on purpose - but I got a message that it was checked out and out of date as I was working on it, but that message later turned into a regular "You are editing... " In any case, now I can't open the docs that are saved with the incx extension. How can I retrieve my document? What is described above applies to the owner of the doc, not the editors, right? How, as an editor, can I fix this problem? I hope hours of work are not lost.
