Maggie, InCopy was designed for editors and recognizes that InDesign can be a little too much for folks who are focused primarily on text. InCopy is, essentially, a word processor for InDesign. To that end youll find that it is easier/more comfortable to edit text with InCopy than with InDesign. There are other issues that arise when transforming a draft into a final. Some of these are addressed by InCopy alone, but many collaboration and workflow management issues require a bigger system like K4. Here, InCopy and InDesign features are extended to include options for managing a more intense work flows where there are high levels of change taking place in short amounts of time. InCopy works well when its constraints are win win. Editors win because InCopy tailors their environment to make it easy to edit text. Designers win because their complex pages are protected from inadvertent mouse slips ;-) Feel free to contact us for more information about K4 and InCopy. Best, Scott Dunn <http://fluxconsulting.com>
