WinXP, InDesign CS2, V4.04/InCopy -- Editor was working on incopy file, the file was damaged somehow, network related not sure? anyway, she lost all of her changes in that particular link & that file was damaged. our IS dept was able to restore that particular file to earlier state w/o damage. she remade all changes & now, I am trying to update that new link in InDesign & getting error (Import Failed) tho other links in that file are working successfully. Does InCopy put a locked file on editors hard drive somewhere when a crash occurs? Is there a way to override this to get to the new file?

Thanks
Sandy
