You can open the IDML file same as indd file on InDesign or InDesign Server by IDocumentCommands::CreateOpenCommand. And you can export as PDF on InDesign Server same as InDesign by IExportProvider.

Tried this...(in VBS and VB)
myDocument.Export idExportFormat.idIndesignMarkup, "C:/test.idml"

VBS/VB doesn't understand idIndesignMarkup

then...
myDocument.Export "IDML", "C:/test.idml"

same issues on XFL format
Can't find any info on correct syntax

thanks inadvance for help

Ian,

The help file says

      ExportFormat.INDESIGN_MARKUP Exports to InDesign markup (IDML) format.
      1768189292 = 'idml'

(for JavaScript). Can you try using the decimal number? I've seen reports the constants don't work very well in VBS.

1768189292 works perfectly in VB.net
